Backflip problem

Ive had this backflip for almost 2 years or more, and now it has been turning off by itself. When it turns off, it turns back on but stays on the white menu with the Motorola sign on it. Then, it turns back off and does the same thing. After a couple times, it turns back on completely. It does that after a while of using the phone. I have took out every single app I've downloaded but it didnt work. Ive reboot the phone many times but that doesnt seem to help either. How do i fix it??

have u tried reflashing the phone with a recovery image?
