Does Pandora work on Backflip, and is it worth it?
Is AT&T's Radio app worth the extra cost? (or use Pandora paid service?)
Is there a good free app?

I use zumodrive. It will stream audio that you upload into your account. ITs completely free and works great!
I use Pandora (free). Haven't really had any problems with it. Believe it works better if you're on Wifi, but does ok streaming on Edge also (don't have 3G where I live).
I'm looking for an app that lets me stream from specific radio stations or other internet radio stations. One that lets me enter the stream url or settings. anyone know of an app like this?
I use Rhapsody but it is $10 a month for 1 device or $15 for 3. My wife wanted it because she was used to having Napster on her old Sansa Clip. She has an iphone and can download the music to her phone for free and doesn't have to stream it. According to Rhapsody they are going to add that feature to android as well. It will be great to be able to download all the music I want on both of our phones for only $15 a month. Less then the price of 1 music CD. I also use Pandora some when on wifi.
i haven't tried droid lite, ill check it out. I did find an app called 'a online radio'. it lets me select from local radio stations, but not all stations will stream. It's not the best, but it'll do in a pinch. thanks for the heads up on droid lite!
ok, i've found a solution that I can digg. I use skyfire as my main browser. I also used to use a site called yourmuze.fm to stream radio to my blackberry. Its a great site cause it'll work on any media phone. It even used to work on my moto razr. Unfortunately it won't work on the backflip... it thinks the stream is video. If you have 'a online radio' installed, it'll play any streaming audio through the app. here's how i got it to work.
1) Go to Welcome | Yourmuze.FM and create an account. Then login and set up the stations you want to stream. It has every station you can think of, including internet radio stations and streaming fm and am stations. best of all, it's FREE!
2)download A Online Radio from the android market.
3)open skyfire browser and go to m.yourmuze.fm (the mobile site) and login. then click on the station you want to stream. a popup will ask you what app you want to use to play the media, click on A Online Radio. and it'll stream.
Hope this helps! Atleast untill some enterprising young app maker, decides to make an app that will stream ALL stations.
