This won't really help but I kept messing up on pushing the rage file cause I kept typing rageagainstthemachine-arm5.bin. Took me a couple minutes to realize it, too.

To those having problems pushing/finding the files, you must remember to type the commands slowly and accurately. Any minor typing errors will cause this to fail.
That's the downside of having to type this on a terminal, I thought about renaming the files and making a new download pack (since I'm really not a fan of long filenames), but I scraped the idea since I thought it might make it lose connection to the original thread.
If you think it'll help, you can rename the files at will and give them shorter filenames.

SO I've got root on a ME600 from Singapore...How can I install the market now? I tried Market Enabler act...Set to T-Mobile US...Settings accepted...Now what?
Downloaded the Vending.apk but during installation it says Market cannot be installed on this phone...Am I missing something?

I feel like I'm dreaming. I check this forum every morning for either A. root, or B. official 2.1 release.
I just can't believe it actually happened! Urgh, now I gotta wait until tonight.
Just a quick question to you guys but im extremely new to rooting, but if I fail to root can I always go back to stock for say. Im willing to try it out its that im an idiot lol, so will it be simple just to go back to the way the phone was. Thanks for any reply
If you fail to root then that's that. You won't need to restore your phone as no changes were made.
You can just delete the temporary files later.

I'm curious, why was this method never developed when looking at the Backflip, but found so quickly with the Droid 2?
I think it worked but dont know how to know for sure.... whats a good sign that it worked?
