I ran a search for recovery.img with Root Explorer before I ran the nandroid backup and there were no results.
Maybe someone else who had it on their phone can give some input to its location.

Like Skrilax_CZ said..." Note: Delete this file (if exists) if you are about to flash the custom recovery: "/system/recovery.img"."
For the underscore:
keep phone and keyboard folded in.
hold menu key down till keyboard shows
hit the ?123 button on the bottom left.
hit the ALT button and the underscore is on the second row.
Also, with the keyboard, ALT -> Shift -> Z.

Thanks Emcee.
It was very frustrating when it comes time to do the underscore when
the phone is flipped open working on a terminal.
I'd flip it close to try and get an underscore but I'll accidentally type in some characters or hit
enter and would screw up the whole line during the process.
Your tip is much better.
"ALT -> Shift -> Z" is my phrase for the day!!!
