installing apps not in marketplace

This is a discussion on installing apps not in marketplace within the Motorola Backflip Development & Hacking forums, part of the AT&T Android Phones by Model category; sideload enabler did work. thanks for the help, but I'm surprised that the app is available on the market....

    How did it not help? The app works if you follow the directions. Also, the app is available because ATT has changed their stance regarding installing non-market apps, mostly due to the Amazon Appstore. The app was made by Motorola themselves, so yes it works.
