13.35 No-Wipe Upgrade File & Tutorial
**************************************
* THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THE AT&T BACKFLIP *
**************************************
First and foremost a huge thanks to Shrilax_CZ at modmymobilecom for finding the file and making the depacker so we can edit these. All I did was remove the userdata partition so your files aren't overwritten.
This is not 2.1 or a major update by any means. All it does is fix some small issues.
Download the files
- The file will require RSD Lite 4.5.7+. AFAIK 4.6 is the latest so google 'RSD Lite 4.6' and install
- Download the edited-firmware: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/178498/att-m...35-upgrade.rar
- If not already installed install the relevant Moto drivers for your OS (sorry mac and linux), Motorola ADB Driver 32bit OR Motorola ADB Driver 64bit
Prepare to flash
- Extract the sbf file from the archive I posted
- Start up RSD Lite
- Boot your phone into the bootloader (Blue MOTO screen).
- Make sure the phone is turned off and unplugged
- hold down * and # on the keyboard (D + J)
- press power, or plug in the USB cable while holding *+#
- Make sure your phone is detected by RSD Lite (Device properties will show up)
- Load the flash file and click start
- Wait for reboot (this will take 5-15 minutes, maybe longer... be patient), and you are done!
BE CAREFUL
- Make sure your battery is charged
- Do not unplug your phone during the flash
- Try this at your own risk

I am not sure of the specific issue, but i don't get reboots with the barcode scanner like i used to on 12.1199. My battery has been better, and the phone seems to run a little better all around.
Overall it is a lot of small improvements from 12.1199 but there are no real major changes. It is an easy update to apply, and i would say it is worth the effort if you are still on 12.1199
(I have had the update since it was pushed OTA about a month ago)
