    I have the stock kernel on my Captivate and tried several apps to get tethering to work with no success until today. Thanks to the advice in this thread I tried barnacle and it works! I will be loading the Barnacle widget to support their work!

    I am new to android newly converted from Nokia's Maemo OS on an N900 for a little over two months now and have not looked back since.

    Thank you to all in this forum and specifically in this thread!
