This is coming out of the beta thread for a stable release... frameworks have been modified, kernels and modems changed, apps updated... and several other things.

Installation Instructions:

• Download the ZIP from the link above for JVP 2.0 and place it on your internal SD card
• Download and flash the KF1 Gingerbread for Captivate --> UCKF1 Odin One-Click
  
• Now, put your phone in download mode and flash this kernel with ODIN --> Xcaliburinhand's Reoriented 2.0 No Voodoo
  
• After flashing the kernel pull the battery because KF1 won't boot with that kernel...
• Now boot into recovery with the 3-button method (VolUp + VolDown + Power)
• Now flash JVP v2.0 Stable.zip
• Voodoo Lagfix will enable itself on first boot with auditory prompts...
• Enjoy!

Ok, flashed and running super smooth! One problem though - this ROM isn't rooted. Is that correct? I downloaded TiBU as usual and it's saying that I'm not rooted anymore. Did I screw something up?

To get it rooted, use the Fugu root here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1127249

At step 6, you're already rooted, but you'll need to install a working kernel. I decided on eXistZ JVP Voodo kernel (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1126827) but presumably any should work. Just make sure you do this AFTER installing the ROM. I tried reinstalling the ROM to get the G#22 kernel back, and it unrooted me.

So far that's the only "bug".

Hmm.. I've got it running on my phone now, and it's rooted. Definitely. I took those screenshots up there with an app called "screenshot" which requires root. Superuser and busybox are also there...

TiBU is giving you a false negative...

EDIT: Seems when I zipaligned the ROM it broke the LG Music and Memo widget. LOL.

And a special thank you for actually hosting all the downloads yourself. I HATE having to use multiupload/megashare because my work network blocks them and they're slow as hell anyway. So I really appreciate having a much better option in your website.

The ROM is fine. Integrity check was 100% on all items. The LG widgets, specifically, don't work.

"now installing dorians jvp beta 1" scared me lol....while flashing the rom with cwm...it displayed that...i was like NO!! i put the right file in!!! haha...

robo chick is enabling my lagfix...will post comments tomorrow =)
