nice, I still can't believe AT&T would release this sucker with Android 1.6.. What are they thinking!
I guess they're thinking that most people won't know or care about the version of Android that it's running. Most people probably don't, but what about the people that do?![]()

In all honesty, 1.6 isn't really an issue at all. Everyone always wants the latest (and they will get it next month) but 1.6 does not hamper using this device in any way (for 99% of users). The only 2.1 only app that may be an issue is Twitter but the X10 has a built in social networking app that should get them through the next month or so.
I rooted and debranded my X10 within 20 minutes of getting home from work.
question? if i do this hacking would my phone go from x10a to x10i? would i still able to use the 3G service? thank you
